Is lecture responsible to motivating students?

Some people thought that lecture have to motivate the students so that the students enthusiasm for learning in campus. But I have another opinion with this statement.

In my opinion, lecture is not responsible to motivating student. Because student in college is mature enough to take care of themselves. Students must be self-motivated. They are coming to campus to learn; no one forces them to come here. So, student have to control their self-actualization.
‘’Self actualization is the oxygen for the soul.’’ – Brian Johnson

Self motivation, in another life everyone will grow up and being adult. And we wouldn’t be treated like a kid anymore that always directioning wherever or whenever we going to do. So, everything that we do is depend with ourself. When you’re lazy but there is something that you should do, it all depend with your self. You have to motivate yourself. I thought that self motivation is biggest motivate to ourself than the other people motivation. Because people aren’t always going to be there for you, that’s why you have to learn to handle things on your own.

Passion to learning, when student come to college, they must have within them the passion to learn. Without passion, all the matters is useless. If we wanted to do something good, we sould have passion. Like we have passion in business, we will happy to learn it so everything that we do is useful and all the matters is going in to our brain

SOOOOOOO, MY CONCLUSION IS

Lecture is not responsible to motivating student because we have to independent, have self motivation, and passion to learning something. It’s better to find out what is your passion before you going to learning something.

I WON'T BE A ROCKSTAR. I WILL BE A LEGEND.

Back to 70's

Let me introduce you famous people that I like, his name is Freddie Mercury.
Freddie Mercury was a British singer, songwriter and record producer, known as the lead vocal and  songwriter of the rock band, Queen.

I know him since I'm 11 years old from my friend's daddy. When my friend's daddy played Queen's song, I'm so interesting to listened it. Then, I search Queen's song again in my home from internet then I downloaded it.

But, why most I liked is Freddie Mercury? Because he is so confident while in stage. His stage style is so awesome while sing a song, makes the audience so excited to watch them.
One of Mercury's most notable performances with Queen took place at Live Aid in 1985, during which the entire stadium audience of 72,000 people clapped, sang and swayed in unison. Queen's performance at the event has since been voted by a group of music executives as the greatest live performance in the history of rock music. The results were aired on a television program called "The World's Greatest Gigs". Mercury's powerful, sustained note during the accapela section came to be known as "The Note Heard Round the World". In reviewing Live Aid in 2005, one critic wrote, "Those who compile lists of Great Rock Frontmen and award the top spots to Mick Jagger, Robert, etc all are guilty of a terrible oversight. Freddie, as evidenced by his Aid performance, was easily the most godlike of them all.''

His technique was astonishing. No problem of tempo, he sang with an incisive sense of rhythm, his vocal placement was very good and he was able to glide effortlessly from a register to another. He also had a great musicality. His phrasing was subtle, delicate and sweet or energetic and slamming. He was able to find the right colouring or expressive nuance for each word.

HIGH SCHOOL'S BREAK TIME ROUTINE

When I’m in Senior High School, I used to break about 2 times per day around 15 minutes per break. And I used my break time as good as possible. Usually, at the first break I ate my food that I already bring from my home. I bring food cause if I bought the food from the canteen, it can wasting time for queue and I will hurried when the bell is ringing. While eat my food, sometimes I talking with my friends or pass the food with my friend. After eating, I go to toilet, so when study time I didn’t ask my teacher to go to toilet again, except in a urgent time. You know, like you have to dump in the toilet something that you realy have to dump.

At the second break, usually I spend my time with talking with my friends, singing together with the one who play guitar. Or sometimes I go to canteen to bought some snack or beverages. When I'm in Senior High School I join OSIS, so in some break time, sometimes I doing some work that I have to done for an event that will be held in my school, I have to go to principal's room or teacher's room to ask something or recommend something.

So, that all what I used to do when school's break time.
I thought it just like the other student gonna do when break time, right?
